roughly estimated at $15 and 6 respectively. The expense in

England might be slightly greater but their improved workman-

ship and greater durability would in my opinion justify the

greater expense. A full description of the medals is attached

to the designs, and I have to suggest that they should be sent

to the Crown Agents with directions to have 150 medals of each

class sent out to the Colony as soon as possible. The first

recipients will be the Members of the Committees who gave

personal assistance to myself.
